About me:
I am the Outdoor Recreation Director for Fort Carson, Colorado working for Family and Moral, Wefare and Recreation for the Department of the Army. My job is to recreate our service members and their families and to enhance their quality of life. I live in Woodland Park, Colorado and moved here from Sierra Vista, Arizona in September 2011. Before this move I lived in Missouri for 10 years, I was spoiled back in Missouri with an abundance of white tails and turkey plus the fact that you can purchase tags over the counter. Moving to Arizona the game has changed a lot, there I had to apply for every gun tag and hope I get selected, but good news was that I could purchase my Archery tags over the counter. Now that I am a Colorado resident purchasing a $49 Elk Bull tag, Mule Deer Tag, White tail tag along with others puts a big ass smile on my face. I was rasied in Arizona then served 24 years in the Army to include a 3 year tour here at Fort Carson so I am familar with my surroundings but would sure like to partner up with hunters out here and learn or should I say re-learn hunting in the high desert and in the Rocky Mountain areas.
